This objection is a killer in an interview process and typically spells the end of the road for the candidate.
The solution is pretty simple, though.
If you are interviewing for a sales role (or any role for that matter), come prepared with examples of deals you have won and how you won them.
It’s a great way to show you have a robust sales process.
If examples aren’t asked for, take control of the interview by throwing one or two in.
This shows great initiative and that you can take control of situations when needed.
Oh, and write your numbers down before the interview too.
