Business Development Manager ANZ | Leading PR AgencyMy client is the premier global provider of news release distribution and multimedia platforms that enable marketers, corporate communicators, public relations practitioners and investor relations professionals to leverage content to engage with all their key audiences. 

They have pioneered the commercial news distribution  industry since the 1950's and now also provides end-toend solutions to produce, distribute, target and measure text and multimedia content across traditional. digital, mobile and social channels. 


ABOUT THE ROLE
As a business development manager, your mission is to create a book of business via prospecting, utilizing an existing account base and closing account in the Australia/New Zealand region. 

Success in this role will be dependent upon your ability to prospect ne-new business through networking events, referrals, cold-calling and any other means necessary. You must have exceptional written and verbal communicational skills which will be important when engaging prospects and existing clients to effectively differentiate their services and value proposition from competitors.

ABOUT YOU
  • 3-5 years of new business development within corporate communications, public relations, marketing or advertising/media sales.
  • A strong track record of consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High Level of self-motivation, energy and accountability 
  • Ability to work independently/autonomously and with a team in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM (Preferable but not essential)
